• COVID-19 Questions & Concerns - Open Discussion 

  Our Virtual Town Hall will start off with an open forum featuring the effects of COVID-19. All are welcome to join the conversation, we will tailor the discussion around the four topics listed below:
    1.  Employment & Financial Uncertainty

  2. Mental & Physical Health
  3. Tips & Tricks to Adjust to Social Distancing
    4. Working From Home Best Practices

• Chapter Elections

  Members interested in joining the Executive Board must be a member in good standing (paid chapter and national dues) and remain such throughout the year. If you are currently not a member in good standing, there's still time! Please contact our Vice President of Membership, Onte McClendon at vicepresident@nsbephilly.org to update your membership status.   

  The Executive Board Positions up for election are listed below, as well as expectations for an Executive Board Member during his/her term:

  • President (Head of Scholarship Committee)

  • Vice President of Membership (Head of Student Outreach Committee)

  • Vice President of Programs (Head of Community Outreach Committee)

  • Secretary (Head of Communications Committee)

  • Treasurer (Head of Finance Committee)

  • Parliamentarian

  Expectations/Duties:

  • 1 year term (May 2020 - May 2021)

  • Attend/Plan General Body Meetings, Events & Executive Board Meetings

  • Head of Committee

  Nominations for members interested in joining the board will be open until Wednesday, April 22nd. Members have the option to self-nominate or nominate others for the Executive Board. Please send all nominations to our President, Stephen Mitnaul at president@nsbephilly.org. 
  
  During the meeting on Monday, April 27th, all nominated candidates will have the opportunity to express remarks for joining the Executive Board.
